Business Analytics
What the Analytics dashboard shows you about visitors to your salon's website, and how to turn it on.
The Analytics dashboard gives you a simple picture of how people are using your salon's public website — how many visits it's getting, which pages are popular, and what people are clicking on.
Turning on Analytics
Analytics is a feature that needs to be switched on for your salon before any data is collected or shown.
Ask whoever manages your salon's feature settings to enable the Business analytics dashboard feature for your salon. Until it's turned on, no visitor activity is recorded, and the Analytics page in your admin area will simply tell you it isn't available.
Once it's turned on, your salon's public website automatically starts quietly recording activity — there's nothing extra for you to set up.
What gets tracked
While Analytics is enabled, your salon's public website keeps track of:
- Page views — every time someone visits a page on your site
- Clicks — when someone clicks on a tracked button or link, such as a "Book appointment" button
Viewing your Analytics summary
Go to your salon admin area and open the Analytics page.
Choose a look-back window — by default you'll see the last 7 days, but you can widen it up to the last 90 days.
Your summary includes:
- Page views and Clicks tracked — totals across your chosen time window
- Visits over time — a day-by-day chart so you can spot trends (e.g. a spike after a promotion)
- Top pages — the pages on your website getting the most visits
- Top clicks — the specific buttons or links getting clicked most often, such as your "Book now" button, so you can see what's drawing customers in
If Analytics isn't enabled for your salon, the Analytics page will show that access isn't available rather than any numbers. Turn the feature on first, then give it a little time to start collecting activity before checking back.
AI Receptionist chat
Further down the same Analytics page is a separate AI Receptionist chat section, covering how visitors use the AI assistant on your website and booking page. It uses the same look-back window you chose above, and only appears once the same Business analytics dashboard feature is turned on. It includes:
- Chat sessions — how many separate conversations visitors started
- Messages sent — how many messages were sent in total across those conversations
- Bookings proposed via chat — how many times the assistant put together a booking proposal for a visitor
- Top components shown — which kinds of cards or pickers the assistant displayed most often (for example a services list, a staff profile card, or a date/time picker)
- Top tools invoked — what the assistant looked up most often behind the scenes (for example checking availability, or looking up services, staff, or holidays)
